What will your activities be?
The System Engineer is part of the engineering organization, he/she reports directly to the discipline coordinator and is the technical contact inside the team/organization for all the technical aspects related to a project execution.
As System Engineer, you will be responsible for the system auxiliaries design for Steam Turbine driven Compressor and Generator applications, Electric Motors and Turboexpanders. System Engineer will support the customer technical contact during engineering project execution from customer specification up to as-built documentation.
Main responsibilities of the System Engineer are:
• Consistency of drafting respect to inputs, completeness of input respect to customer requirements and standard, and documentation delivery according to planning. Main documents P&IDs, utility consumption list and electrical load list
• Main items selection (control and on/off valve, boosters, heaters, filters) according to customer requirements and standards
Basic requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or equivalent)
- English (minimum B1 level)
- Demonstrate experience of using CAD software such as ACAD or similar
- Show the ability to manage and oversee multiple projects and priorities
Additional skills/preferences
- attitude to teamworking and problem solving
- have experience of working within an engineering organization or environment
- capability to work under pressure
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- basic knowledge in systems calculation (sizing of orifices, PCVs, PSVs, On/off, filters, heaters), ability to develop predictive model design (Matlab/Simulink, FlowMaster, Hysis)
- basic knowledge of package integration with focus on mechanical and instrument disciplines: piping class, material selection, instrument selection and installation
- basic knowledge of international standards (API614, API692)
